-Marriage Visa
Like hiring any professional, you are paying for our knowledge and
expertise. You do that with any marriage visa attorney that you hire. One question
that this Firm gets most often is how we can have the lowest prices.
This is simple- we charge what we believe is a fair market value for
our
professional marriage visa legal services. Completing the marrige visa process is
a somewhat simple process for an experienced immigration attorney. The fact that
our attorneys have vast professional associations and litigation
experience should not have bearing upon the fee. The fee you pay for us
performing an administrative function is not a fee for a jury trial -
don't overpay! We offer:
Document preparation services that are not attorneys ("Certified Experts" or "Bonded Immigration Consultants") CANNOT REPRESENT YOU at any stage of the process. A licensed Attorney can contact the USCIS, National Visa Center, and Embassy to resolve any issues on your behalf. Beware of non-attorney document assemblers.
This is a 2 part process and our firm handles ALL stages. First, the I130 packet is sent in. Because this can take years to process where your spouse cannot enter the US, the USCIS created the K3 visa which is the second, I129F packet. This is sent in once we get a receipt from the I130. This shortens the wait time for your spouse to enter the US to about 6-12 months. In both stages, the USCIS will make sure that you qualify for the visa and that all your paperwork is in order. Once approved by the USCIS, the marriage visa petition is sent to the National Visa Center (NVC) for an FBI check on both you and your spouse. The NVC then sends it to your spouse's Embassy. They will then contact her/him directly. She/he will need to submit forms with supporting documentation (copies of some of forms/documents you already submitted in the US, police report making sure she/he does not have a serious criminal record). Once the Embassy receives, they will contact spouse to have her/him set up a medical exam and interview date. Typically, the marriagve visa is issued the day of interview or shortly thereafter via mail.
We cannot guarantee a time. However, we have been seeing an average wait times of between 6-12 months to attain your marriage visa.
